Dear Friends of Centre 64,
Join Us in Shaping the Future!
We are thrilled to share some more exciting news about the evolving plans at Centre 64.
Our commitment to making Centre 64 an inclusive and safe space for everyone is stronger than ever, and we want to keep you informed every step of the way.
Introducing Our New Respectful Workplace Policy
Creating a welcoming environment is at the heart of what we do. We have developed a new Respectful Workplace Policy that all staff, volunteers, and board members will be signing. This policy extends to all visitors as well, ensuring that every person who walks through our doors feels respected and valued.
Why is this policy so important?
Promotes Mutual Respect: It sets clear expectations for behavior, fostering an atmosphere where everyone treats each other with kindness and consideration.
Ensures Safety and Inclusivity: By outlining guidelines against harassment and discrimination, we are taking proactive steps to create a secure environment for all.
Encourages Open Communication: It provides channels for reporting concerns, ensuring that every voice can be heard and addressed appropriately.
We have also partnered with a harassment advisor to assist us in implementing best practices and providing support as needed. Their expertise will help us maintain a safe and welcoming environment where creativity and community can flourish.
Collaborating with Columbia Basin Trust
We are excited to announce that we are working with the Columbia Basin Trust through their Advisor Program. With the help of a business consultant, we are exploring new directions for Centre 64 that align with the needs and desires of our community, which we are extracting from the Survey results!
Your Voice Matters – Survey Extended Until November 5th!
Our future plans are driven by you! To ensure we capture as much community input as possible, we have extended our survey deadline to November 5th. By participating, you'll have a direct impact on the programming and events we offer.
Exciting Prizes to Be Won!
As a token of our appreciation for your time, all survey participants will be entered into a draw to win fantastic prizes, including a $200 Save-On-Foods gift certificate! Winners will be announced next Saturday, so don't miss out on this opportunity.
Stay Tuned for Updates!
As we embark on this journey of transformation, we promise to keep you updated:
Saturdays: Look out for emails with updates on our restructuring plans, new procedures, and board news.
Mondays: We'll kick off the week by highlighting the awesome events and activities happening at Centre 64!
We are incredibly excited about the future and can't wait to share more with you. Together, we can make Centre 64 a vibrant hub of creativity, inclusivity, and community spirit.
Thank you for being a part of our journey!
