This year, our “Artrageous” Open Adjudicated Art Exhibition is celebrating pride. In this vein we asked artists, when selecting their works to submit to this art exhibition, to please keep in mind that we are celebrating: Lesbian; Gay; Bise Paint this fabulous, Tim Burtonesque, Halloween painting!

About the event
This year, our “Artrageous” Open Adjudicated Art Exhibition is celebrating pride. In this vein we asked artists, when selecting their works to submit to this art exhibition, to please keep in mind that we are celebrating: Lesbian; Gay; Bisexual; Transgender; Queer or Questioning; Two-Spirit; Asexual; Intersex; and additional sexual orientations and gender identities (LGBTQ2SAI+) communities, social acceptance, self-acceptance, achievements, legal rights, and pride.
In addition to dedicating this outrageously colourful open art exhibition to the pride celebration, we asked local graffiti artist Jamie Cross to create a pride wall for us. The pride wall is meant to function as a public photo booth.
We’re encouraging everyone in the area to come check out the pride wall, do the photo booth thing, post the photos on social media, tag @kimberleyarts in your post, and add #pridewall to your post.
