'A Kaleidoscope of Possibilities' : The Beauty of Story Making

Kaleidoscopes are symbols of beauty - change - growth. In this workshop we will use this metaphor to explore writing as 'making' and creating. We will approach writing from a variety of mediums to expand our approach to storytelling. Curious. So am I!  Multi Medium approaches have been used in schools for many years to enhance students' learning of a variety of subjects. The approach is now being integrated into classrooms to support story writing. In this workshop we will write - for sure - and we will explore the playground of other resources to access memories, stretch our imaginations, and reveal the creativity within us. Consistent with all other workshops that I have facilitated, the emphasis will be on providing a safe space for us to explore, and gentle nudging for growth and learning. The workshop is open for those who are 'just curious' through to those who have specific pieces of narrative in mind.
