The Kimberley Kaleidoscope Arts & Culture Festival is a one-week celebration in September that includes visual, performing and literary arts events.

Residents and visitors get the chance to see and participate in performances, exhibitions, demonstrations, and workshops in various artistic genres and activities. Local, regional, and touring artists can showcase their work, receive commission or instruction fees, or sell their artwork.

First Saturdays are FREE, monthly one-day-only festivals that run the first Saturday of every month from July to October. It is a celebration of local arts and culture, bringing together live music, local vendors, and activities for people of all ages in Kimberley's heart; the Platzl.

First Saturday was imagined and created in 2013 to support and bring local/regional artistic talent to the community.

Each month has a theme featuring family-friendly programs. We strive to provide diverse artistic talents and make our activities participatory whenever possible.

First Saturdays have grown into a mainstay of Kimberley's summer/fall seasons and works with many community partners to promote even more than Arts, Culture and Heritage, including such things as Nature Park hikes.

This program has been part of the Kimberley Arts Council-Centre 64 for over a decade. It consists of three or four Spring and Fall concerts, presenting jazz, blues and world music. Live@Studio64 has showcased local, national and international performers.

Live @C64 happens in the Spring and Fall of each year.

Every summer, from July to August, children use their creativity through different art techniques and media to express themselves in a safe space.

Each year the Kimberley Arts Council-Centre 64 looks for talented artists and instructors to unleash the artist in each kid.

We offer a wide range of workshops, including ceramics, theatre, visual arts, clay modelling, fashion and animation.

Clay Collective

Welcome to the Kimberley Clay Collective! We’re a bunch of ceramic enthusiasts right here in the heart of Kimberley, British Columbia. Housed in the basement of Centre 64, our studio is a cozy space for anyone with that fire for working with clay. Our goal is simply to inspire our community to learn and get creative in our welcoming, inclusive ceramics studio.

If you’re part of the Kimberley Arts Council - Centre 64, you’ve successfully completed the Ceramics Foundation Course, and you’ve become a member of the ceramics studio at Centre 64, you’re in! Come on down to our open studio where you can work independently and use all the good stuff we’ve got: tools, supplies, equipment - the works. Plus, we like to spread knowledge to our members and anyone keen to learn. Our studio is all about inclusivity and friendliness. We've set up shop to be a creative place for everyone, where you can feel the love and support while you bring your ceramic ideas to life.

During our monthly meetups on Wednesday night at 7 pm, we get together to stay organized, share ideas, stories, and maybe a few laughs too. And if you’re itching to learn, grow, and connect with fellow ceramic enthusiasts, our classes (open to everyone) are just the ticket. Lastly, we are showing off and selling our ceramic creations in the Upper Gallery at Centre 64.

Find us on Instagram (@kimberleyclaycollective) for all the latest news. Whether you're a pro in the ceramics game or just starting out, the Kimberley Clay Collective is here to welcome you with open arms. So join us to get our hands in the clay and have some fun!
